RC Driving Style
I putting allunimum suspension arms...but i fell that something is strange...the upper arm got a lot of the space in the fr bullkehead .

Have a look.

AnD tell ME your thoughts...
 
That is weird i bet they are supposed to have bushing on the pins to hold them I'm place, or there not for a T-Maxx? Mine fit real tight and there is no space at all.

Is it only like that on one of them? I would compare the arms together and see if there differnet.
 
maybe the uppers need the little spacers that came on the front and rear of the pin that held the upper arms on when they were stock. They were like c-shaped wedges that adjusted the caster depending on where you put them The gap looks to be about the same as the thickness of the both of them...
 
yeah, thats definitely what you're missing.

add: BTW JesseG I believe you're describing the older maxx. My E-maxx is the older model and It's a real tight fit.

Jesse, when are you gonna upgrade to the widemaxx suspension? You could do Fastlane Towers, Rpm a-arms, and lunsford turnbuckles... Whats that... $125... ok forget it...
 
LOL I'm going to some day. I just bash now and dont race so It works good for me :) I have the shocks set where I like them and I actually dont roll very often. However it does spend some time up on 2 wheels though lmao.
 
With the maxx, when turning it seems the three wheels on the ground is usual... I think it is just the way it is designed...
 
Yeah but mine is on two wheels hehe Last time I was driving it I was trying to see how far I could go lol
 
Kinda hard to do when you dont have locked diffs... They just unload to the wheels off the ground... Nice avatar by the way...
 
Very true, its fun though to send it into a poweslide and get up on two and then fall back on to all 4 lol. And yeah I like that avatar too that the motor in my honda lmao!

Why ? I need all your help....in the last month i waste about 800us in parts....and now i dont now how to mount...:-(
