Sold / Found Almost new savage for sale

Hey,
I purchased a hpi savage 21bb rc monster truck at the very end of the summer. I bought this getting out of gopeds hoping to have some major fun. Anyways, its been nothing but fun. First when i broke it in i had to change the plug 4 times, and had to buy a rechargeable glow igniter to get a good heat. After FINALLY breaking the beast in, i couldnt start it! I would take it to the LHS and they would start it first pull and tune it and say its perfectly fine. I'm not sure if its me, or if theres something wrong with the engine. I have not once taken anything apart except for the radio box to install batteries. I have to hop ups which are a venom racing temp guage( Bought in hopes of helping me get running) and a motorsavers airfilter because i had heard that the stock one was dangerous to run and restricted air flow. I still have the original box, original air filter. I'm trying to sell this in order to move down the ladder towards something like an rc10gt. My friend has one and its a lot easeir to get running than my savage. Not sure what to ask...its bone stock but the temp guage and filter, i have all parts including radio, stock body and a black h1 hummer. Anyways, if your interested in a savage thats had 1 quart blue thunder break in fuel, and half a quart of 20% blue thunder racing fuel, this is the truck for you. Thanks for your time.

well i bought it brand new at my lhs for about 420 dollars. I added a 30 dollar temp guage and a 20 dollar airfilter. so thats about 470. I know anything about the engine as far as how long the life has left. I have made sure the temps never went above 280 as to not make it blow. would 300+shipping be to much to ask?

UPDATE!!

ok:::::::::: Here goes. I've decided to leave the hobby of nitro because mx is just taking to much money. Sliced my dep silencer today and I'm in need of a new one so here goes: 2003 HPI savage 21 bb. Condition::: Used 1 1/2 quarts of fuel TOPS. I am not good at getting it started and i have no idea what I'm doing. Only flaw with this is that the pullstart string broke. THe spring is in tact and the mechanism works, but the string frayed and broke...other than that...like new condition.

INCLUDED WILL BE: HPI savage 21, Hanger 9 rechargable glow plug igniter with guage and charger. Hot Shot 2 starter (bought last week), has 2 charges on it. WIll include charger for it also. Also, the kind of igniter that connects to a battery with positive and negative outputs. A proline hummer body(older style with small pickup) painted gloss black. FRont windsheild cut out, windows made into air scoops. Original body included with winshield and rear shield cut out. Stock Remote with stock servos. In my toolkit that i will include (box and all) will be CA tire glue, 4 body clips with yellow zipties for easy find; glow plug wrench that has long shank and can hold up to 3 new plugs. Stock fuel line. A stock pipe and a pipe from a friends ofna .21 buggy. Brand new rim (stock) in case of wheel strippage. hmm thats all i can think about at this hour of the night. I will get pics upon requests of serious buyers only. Please dont post if your not serious. Looking to get 350 plus shipping for evrything posted. U wont be dissapointed with this truck.

The pullstart issue he mentioned is common. The pullstart string breaks from too much oil/nitro getting into the pull start housing.

The Dep Silencer is a BMX...Motocross muffler of some sort...not RC related. Here he is saying he needs money to support his other hobby.

Quart and a half tops, and has all those problems? Damn, I go thru a quart on any given day on the weekends. Quart and a half. Tops. Temp problems, PS issues. Sounds like spare parts to me, 250 max. That's what I'm selling my old one for, with a new, never run HB 21 engine pulled from my lightning. Sorry fellas, this one is spoken for for the time being, so this aint a for sale ad.
