I don't own a savage, but I was doing a search for a friend, and couldn't come up with anything on an allum. diff case for a savage. Does anyone make one, or is it a lost cause?

tell your friend having one is a total waist =). its heavier and the plastic one wouldn't ever break anyway... unless he want to just do it for looks, caz thats all a aluminum case is.

It does add rigitity to the truck. It helped a lot on my maxx to prevent chassis flex from tearing up spurs, but on the savage, I don't know how much you really need help against that.

My friend already bought a plastic one, but out of curiosity do they make an allum. diff case for the savage? That is the part he was looking for, not the diff. cup. You know the plastic part that holds the diff, and attaches the suspension, and frame together. Thanks for the posts, and the links. I'll pass them on.

I didn't check but i'm pretty sure tower dose NOT have them... I might be wrong. But i know they make them, I've seen them.

They dont make any differnce in the rigity of your chassie either.. There are like 20 screws on each side, dosnt get much rigity then that. alum tran boxes are stupid, same w/front and rear diff alums. pointless.
