Well the last time i drove my 2.5 was about a week and a half ago. Thats when my header broke and I went over the truck only to discover the inside of the mill had tured pink. I thought that was odd but it didnt seem to hurt anything. I also noticed my compression was really low. So today I go to start it and once gas hit the carb it boged down and seized up. Took the glo plug out and defluded it put a new plug in and it fired up, took it down the street once and layed into the throttle. It died instantly when I pulled the trigger. So then I spent 15 minutes trying to get it started up again up no go. It would hold a higher tone with my finger on the pipe trying to prime it then when I took it off. A new plug didnt work either. So I think I finally killed my 2.5. After 4.5 gallons it decided that was enough. I think when my header broke it supper heated which expanded my sleve and, the heats what turned my engine pink. O well time to drop my os.18tm into it and break it in. It was a good mill, I beat the crap out of it and it beat the crap out of me trying to tune it.

Sounds like. I know mine went after the fuel tank o-ring went out. It overheated a couple times and I couldn't figure out why.

Man that sucks....part of deal with nitro I guess. I am always afraid I am going to blow one of mine....but knock on wood they are all running great...when I have time to run em.

BTW I have TRX 3.3 in the juice (Baged in WD and ARO) if you are interested. It runs great I have just been switching all of my stugff over to OS engines so it currently does not have a home........PM me for details.

Yep and i felt it now i took out the glow plug and I can pretty damn near spin the flywheel. I'm going to put the 3.3 in my 2.5 and put my new os.18 in the race rig.

Don't forget, they alrays run their best right before they blow up! :D

Thanks for the positive thinking in my dirrection....it will surely hasten thier demise, and I will be engine shopping over the weekend....;)

I'm acutally thinking about selling the 2.5 revo now. I really want to get one of those new associated buggys. I just keep reading up on them and I'm starting to want one more and more. Maby i dont know yet. I'm going to see how she runs with the 3.3 in her then if my interest dosent spark up again then shes on the choping block. I should have never got a 3.3 because the 2.5 just sits on the side lines now. O well well see I have to sell my geto ass oldsmobile first lol.

Holy cow I'm lucky. So last night I took apart my aclaimed to be dead 2.5 and found the problem I think. I forgot to put the shim back on the head. Lol. I was wondering what got sucked up in the vacum cleaner the other day. Shure as poop. Go look in the vacum bag and bingo. I cleaned up the head which was all gooky and put it back together, sealed the backplated and got everything delt with. I havent started it yet, its kind rainy here today but I'm shure it was the problem. O well lets see what this little mill has left in it lol.

Well I couldnt wait I just had to see if it worked and shure enough it ran bitchen. Buttt, its all out of tune. Anyone know what the source of being of the gas after a high speed run and it keeps the rpm's up for a few seconds? I thought that ment it was lean on the lsn but noting I did helped. I went back to stack setings and noting same thing.

P.S. Then I got fed up with that thing, went in my room and grabed my 3.3 fired up and pulled some mean wheelies. I am starting to love pull start more and more every time I use it, its lighter, and hella easy to start.
