I just finished installing the GPM alloy ball bearing steering assembly in the Savage X. WOW, impressive. Absolutely effortless movement in the steering. I highly recommend it for any MTs.

I knew it was coming.
I haven't pushed it around yet, but it sure is effortless when it's on its' back on that down comforter. :hehe:

I just found the alloy trans, but haven't gotten it yet. I think the trans is the last thing I need.

I want to know the final weight of this bling queen!

Where's the pics for this install??? :D

Precisely.

Okay, okay. I didn't think this one was a major looker.

Below is the completed install. I decided to remove the linkage on the right
and exchange it for the stock unit with the servo saver, but I added the ball
bearings to it.

Testing, testing.....Look, the power indicator is actually lit!

That nasty looking plastic thing in the center is next in line to be replaced. :D

Nothing to do with the steering. Just posted because I like this pic. :)

Alloy receiver box next? Got to get rid of that pesky black plastic!

Sure is a nice looking rig man. It honestly would be a shame to get it dirty!
