Oh well... other than the cap thing, it was a nice tank. For some reason, it didn't lean out like the stock tank when it gets down around 1/4 full. My engine would just run and run and then all of the sudden die! No change in exhaust note or anything. It would just run out of fuel!

maybe that's better...

consistent performance through the tank because the tank walls don't flex???

here a sugestion for your fuel tank problem why dont you find a peice of flat alum and the gas tank of you choice and then drill the stock footprints in the alum and then drill new holes for your new gas tank and then bolt it down then you dont have to drill into your chassis and you can run any gas tank of your choice as long as it fits... just a suggestion might work

I did that for my throttle servo on my XTM 21 conversion chassis. Otherwise, two of the stupid throttle servo bolts were right under the lower chassis brace and you had to take off both the front and rear skids, center skid and one chassis brace just to replace a spur gear... after doing that a couple times, I made an aluminum plate to bolt the servo to, and made holes in the plate and chassis that allowed me to remove it much easier.

A pic to give you and idea:
