I'm looking to see if anyone knows what servos replaced the align ds510 that came in the trex 500, can't seem to find any good leads. Thank you

Servos are servos. No need to stick with any particular brand. They are somewhat standardized in size like standard (1/10 surface RC uses these almost exclusively except crawlers), mini servos, and micro sizes, but you really gotta look at the dimensions to ensure they fit. Savox is good about showing drawings for all their servos with dimensions on their website for example.

So there is also www.servodatabase.com. Here is a link to your servo specs there...

What you have there is a mini servo. Reefs makes some of the best minis. But Savox, Hitec, and many other manufacturers out there have good servos. Shop around, look at torque (higher the better) and speed/60° (lower is better), and dimensions and see what you can find. I shop on Amain for my servos, but there are lots of hobby shops out there that sell servos.

If you need expert help, contact the guys over at www.helidirect.com. They will get you squared away.

I really appreciate the info, thank you@ wickedfog

You're welcome. Hope you get it sorted out. Servos are sometimes a big pain in the butt, because they come in all shapes and sizes, different spine counts on the drive gears, different diameters of the drive gears, servo throw angle, etc. So make sure you check all that stuff.

Servo horns are another pain in the butt too. The industry needs to start standardizing all this stuff. But everyone thinks their way is better. Causing us consumers to have to do all kinds of legwork to fix and hopup our RC's, often times finding out that what we thought would work won't.

So analyze everything before you buy. The info is all out there for the most part, you just gotta do your homework. And a set of calipers or a scale ruler will often come in handy to check the mounting location for any interference.

The DS530 seems to be the replacement. However it’s a high voltage servo that might not play well with the other ones unless you replace them all and run a higher voltage.. 🤷‍♂️

Maybe give the https://aligntrexshop.com a shout and see what they recommend.

Yes that's what I'm seeing, I'm going to replace both and grab some spares, I'm sure I'll have some more hard landings until i get the feel back, and thank you
