i got this thing out today to try and fly it again, for the 1st time in months, and now i can't get it to charge, i also dont know wher ethe instructions are. so the green light flashes when i have the radio on and plug the chopper in while the switch on the chopper is off. but doesn't stay on. am i doing this wrong?

I believe you are supposed to have both the radio and the chopper off, then plug the heli into the radio to charge it. When it is charging, a green light should be steady on. When it is done, the light should go off.

That is if this thing is anything like my daughters, air hogs plane.

Actually with the heli, you are supposed to leave the Transmitter ON and the helli off.

If what Jon says is valid (don't own one so I can't refute his information), then the blinking light is indicating a charging error of some sort. Either the lead connecting to the heli isn't making a solid contact, or perhaps the battery in the heli is damaged...or the batteries in the radio are not strong enough to charge the heli.

The only reason I can says is I just played with the one I have. I could not understand it but I actually had to turn it on to charge.... wierd. Have you checked the batts on the TX? If they are too low they will not charge. Can't say I have seen the blink LED though. The LED on the Heli flickers when I am flying it.

I had a similar model that I purchased from a hobby shop here in Fort Worth that was almost the exact same way. the green light would stay steady green while I had the heilo (turned OFF) connected to the transmitter/charger (turned ON) Once disconected the light would turn off, then blink in slow succession when the until was powered on. I think that is an almost universal indication of the state of the unit.

If your still having problems with it you can send me a Private message, I've got the instruction manual for it and i can help you figure out the problem.
