Dont know if i already asked this but...The stock air filter? Is it any good FOR EXEMPLE:I bash everywhere and anywhere that as dirt, gravel, earth,(DUST),you name it...been there!! Should i clean every time I'm finish my daily bashing or it could wait a bit more...? Its starting to be expensive on the air filter oil !!!

And i heard about the engine saver AF for the revo...I was wondering if there is one the Savage X ???
Maybe just not lookin at the right places...:surrender

when its real dirty and dusty i clean it every session , just to make sure that there is good air flow and no dirt gets in the engine, as for the oil how much do you use ? supposed to put about 30 drops , i 've had mine for a few months and still not done the bottle, and its the ''motor saver air filter'' and its good for any rc in my opinion , I'm pretty sure the rest of the guys wil say the same thing,

Which one comes on the X? Is it this one: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJSS8&P=ML

If so, then that one isn't bad.

This is the MS: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDVJ2&P=7
Which also isn't bad.

I clean mine when the actual element looks dirty. I use motorcycle filter oil instead of RC specific air filter oil. This stuff: http://www.pitposse.com/pj1spfofitr.html

I've had the same can for 2 years... It's a 13oz can and it's still half full.

Yup thats the one !!!
And you can use motorcycle filter without damaging anything ??? NICE
I'll look into that
THANKS ALOT MAN !!!

just pick up a bottle of filter oil at 'latrack' its cheap and lasts awhile

Boutch your stock air filter is actually really good. No need to change it. As far as how often to clean it. I clean mine every other time I run the truck unless it was dusty where I ran it. If I'm just running in the grass or the pavement you can do it every other time. And you can use just about any type of air filter oil. I use K&N filter oil because I have several bottles for my filter on my F-350 Diesel. Motorcycle filter oil is fine and a lot cheaper than those little bottles of rc stuff..................
