Just wondering what other people uses to hold the air filter onto the hose and the hose onto the carb, i use zap straps but it sucks having to get new staps everytime you clean the filter and the straps that come undone are too big to make a tight connection even thou i doubt there is any air leak

The ones most people use are a one shot deal.

They must be cut off and you need to then use a new one.

They are cheap and will never loosen.

You can get them at any hardware or electronics store.

Here is what I am talking about...

The reusable ones loosen and are not good for this application.

If you go to Home Depot or Lowe's you can get a big-a** can of them for like $7. I'll have enough for a few years worth of driving. The can has like 2 or 3 different sizes and there is a 100 of each (I think).

My motor saver filter came a re-usable steel type clamp.

That's for the Revo right? I got the same filter for my Revo and that steel clamp works pretty good, I still use a zip tie around the part that connects the filter housing to the tube. On my LST I have to use 2 zip ties, one at both ends of the tubes, I need to get a Motor Saver filter for it too.
