air filter question

hi all!Sorry i didnt come on for a long time because i was having fun with my brand new savage x 4.6(broken in to)but i have an another question(like usual)is it normal when i start my nitro rc truck and when i finish i take out my nitro rc air filter to clean.It looks like there is my nitro rc fuel on there.by that i mean that i think my nitro fuel is going on my air filter while I'm driving.Is this noraml?

I've never had it happen but I've heard it's from being too rich. Someone should chime in with a more educated answer.

Yhea I have had it happen when I was running rich on my Traxxas Rigs I ran.

thanks so all i have to do is lean it out more right?Also is it fine if it does this.Will is cause any damage?
