i got my new rush evo today is there any thing else i can youse instead of air filter oil

i.e wd 40

thanks :redbuggy: :n00bie:

wd-40 will work, but I wouldn't use it in really dusty areas. If your running in grass or on pavement, wd-40 or 3-in-1 household oil will work for a short term fix.

I use motorcycle air filter oil. Comes in a 16oz spray can and was $4. vs the little 1 oz bottle for $5 that's "made" for rc's.

any oil is better than none, but true air filter oil "sets up" and gets sticky once its applied making it work better. keep in mind your airfilter is your insurance policy for your pricy little motor and run what ever you want. i use motor oil in a pinch, but not for long.
