I'm getting air bubbles in the fuel line. I've checked every millimeter of the tubes and tank for cracks. Could anything eles be causing this? How can i check more thoroughly for leaks?
 
Take it off the truck, empty it of fuel. Fill a sink with water deep enough to submerge the tank. Plug the line to the carb, blow into the exhaust line and pinch the line to hold the pressure in.

If there's a leak, you should see bubbles.
 
What's your fuel level when you develop bubbles ? The tank can vibrate to the point where the fuel will foam and cause bubbles. To counter this, put some "O" rings or small pieces of fuel tubing between the tank and the tank post. Anything to absorb some of the vibrations coming up through the chassis. I know you said you checked the tank for cracks but something that gets overlooked sometimes is the fuel outlet nipple. I unscrewed mine and used a little sealant around the threads.
 
well i double double checked all lines and even submerged the tank in water to look for leaks and saw none. When I hooked it up again it seems to work when i prime it i see fuel flow and not sink back but now I can't get it to start. Its kindda hard to tell if fuel is still flowing when i crank the engine. BTW i have rubber o ring between the tank and the mounts and the fuel level should suffice its worked fine in the past.
 
Ok - its an old trick of the trade and some people get all freaky about it, BUT, it works. I do this to EVERY brand new gallon of fuel I get and have NEVER had a problem with it. The old timers at the flight field taught me this....

Upon receipt of a new gallon of fuel, grab your spray bottle Armor All. Original formula ONLY, nothing crazy. Spray a SINGLE spritz of Armor All into the gallon of fuel. Only ONE spritz. Close up the fuel and tumble it around to mix it up.

Poof! No more foamy frothy fuel!
 
thats a tight trick! i am a little freaky about it. the fuel does seem to want to foam up. seems to run well other wise. btw how obvious should the smoke be at idle? is it only at full throttle that u should see a streem of smoke?
 
Not just full throttle, whenever you give it throttle. A little throttle gives a little smoke, a lot of trigger should give a heavy stream of smoke. Idle doesn't give much more than enough to burn your eyes and taste like poop when your leaning over the truck to work on it.

Sorry about the armor all thing, I completely forgot. It's easy to see it work. Take a half full gallon of rc fuel, shake it up, look at the bubbles... oohhh aahhhh....

Spray one spritz of armor all in the same half gallon, shake it up... no bubbles.

I've been doing it on the past 3 gallons of fuel. But even without it, my buggy tanks barely foam up.
