I notice that when I start my buggy that there are air bubbles in the fuel line. I have already sealed the backplate and the carb. I also put fresh fuel line in it already and have it zip tied on all of the nipples. I also run dual Ofna stone filters on the pick up line, could that be the cause of the air bubbles? Do I need to seal the fuel filters with silicone? The engine will idle and hold a tune. My temps don't go above 220. Should I be worried about the air bubbles.?

it depends how big the bubbles are. as long as you are not showing signs of an air leak (it doesn't seem that way) then u really dont need to worry. Alot of times the vibrations cause the fuel to foam a little causing the air bubbles later when u try to start it.

I would check the o ring and make sure it is sealing the filter.
Now your engine is tuned to compensate for the air bubbles. If the amount of bubbles changes you are asking for trouble down the line.

It very well may be that the fuel is foaming. Put "1" spritz of Original ArmorAll into a gallon of fuel and see if it gets rid of your issue.

You may also want to buffer your tank from the chassis using shock seals or fuel tubing. This will cut bask a bit on the vibration.

All this is said with the understanding that you have no air leaks.

I've never heard of the armor all. How does it affect the fuel and the engine? I already have my tank sitting on fuel tubing to cut back on the foaming. I guess I'll check the fuel filters to make sure that the o-ring is sealed correctly. Thanks.

the armor all trick is an old idea brought up in the past here at RCNT. I have also tried it, and it works perfectly! Just remember - ONE SPRITZ PER GALLON!!!!

The thing is I've never heard of the trick. What exactly does the Armor All do to the fuel though?
