hi i have some questions ......i just got a team losi aftershock....and its a grate truck first one i ever owned and the fist day i had it i hit the right front tire on a mail box going better than 20 mph lol.......broke it first day ... any ways ....

i want to put a bigger motor in it but don't want to spend 1000 on it ... and would prefer to move to 30% nitro instead of 20%but i want more power....and is a roll cage a good idea and i dont want a pull start

I run an LRP28S3 in mine and really like it.

If you go with a bigger/stronger engine, you will need to replace your two speed assembly with the LST* version instead of the aftershock/raminator/baja bug version. The LST* version is built better and won't warp out on you. I made it to tank 6 of break-in with my LRP before my Aftershock two speed grenaded on me.

I had the LRP and deff recomend it. 100%. But i never had to replace anything in the 2speed, nor any of the tranny stuff.

ok where can i get what i need i like the idea of not replaceing the 2 speed

I'd spend the extra dollars and get a Picco .28. They can make some nasty power from what i've seen.

The STS D28M is another good choice for only $100 and its a screamer. I have one and it makes my savage go crazy fast and do violent wheelies on demand.

Just replacing the stock muffler witth a good tuned pipe and switching to a good 30% fuel will make a big difference.
The Losi HT pipe is a good one for the LST/ Aftershocks.
Plus that pipe will work good on most engines out there today.
