aftershock brake upgrade

The crazy nut one will probably give you better bite than the single 8eight disk. A buddy of mine has the integy disks... normally I'd just say integy sucks and leave it at that, but he's put a decent amount of time on the truck and they work well and have held up well.

I run a vertigo 3mm CF single disk. I found that I required a much higher torque servo to get it to stop... at all. I put a 590M in and it would slow down, but stopping was more of a suggestion. So, since winter was coming, I upgraded the servo to a hitec 985MG, 170oz core less and sealed (sealed is a nice thing for winter snow running). Now it stops on a dime all day long. It gives a nice progressive feel as well. Much less like an on off switch over stock. Also, the brake chatter/drag is no longer a problem when the brakes aren't applied, like stock.

ya i hear ya on the drag it seems to work smooth on disengagement sometime and other times not.
