do you liek rc truck and play with them? < my 5 yr old girl wanted to replie.

could your problem be your ride hieght?

It used to be fine then after a couple of harsh weekends down a old rock quarry . They have really loosened up . My ride height has been adjusted loads of times . I've got it as low as possible and still flips wen its not at full throttle . Any way of transferring more traction to the front wheels ? And by the way it isn't your standard t maxx . It was a 1.5 roller with a 2.5 transmission and the 3.3 trx engine and a tuned pipe , with the wider rpm's and heavy duty axles on the back .

Sounds like you need a wheelie bar. STIFFER SPRINGS will cause MORE flips not less.

What size bell and spur are you using? Bigger bell smaller spur will also reduce wheelies and increse top speed.

assuming that all four wheels are turning ( a busted axle will make it 2 wheel drive and double the power to the rear wheels) I just had that happen this weekend, lots of fun, yea flips over ALL THE TIME

I would get a smaller spur, AND a wheelie bar. Sounds like its running GREAT.

I say your lucky i could never get my t-maxx 3.3 do do wheelie's at all, some thing that may been why it never did a wheelie like high altitude may have killed it for me?

Both axles are fine and dandy :) . And its a pretty heavy truck with all my mods and full stainless roll cage . Its just a pain in the ass to start at the moment my pull starter broke . So i took my pull starter of my abc big block engine . And fitts perfect . But the one way bearing is on its way out . And the t maxx bearing won't fit it . Yea i think wheelie bar is the way forward its like a mental person in a straight jacket high on speed lol.

I would suggest changing the CB and spur
15t CB and 38t Spur... if that dont tame it down, i would suggest a center diff
if you do go center diff route before puting diff in , open it up and make sure its full of oil.
bought mine new from LHS and diff was only half full, which made the diff unload to quick

Well if it's a 2.5 trans go with the factory 73 tooth spur and 18 tooth clutch bell way less tourque more topend

A smaller spur makes it do more wheelies I have the same setup almost 2.5 trans 3.3 motor I wanted to do wheelies so I dropped the spur to a 68 from the factory 73 and put a 18t bell on it

Yeah that spur is quite a bit smaller then stalk I run a 70 tooth spur or a 68 and I am able to keep the front end down if i want and keap it up if I really want.. The only difference is I have racing soft soft shocks can't remember who from ( maybe traxxas) and rpm shock towers. I have the same idea as you classic with a 3.3 and a bunch of mods on it. I also have the new 3.3 (well 2 new ones one i use and one brand new) and my classic that I built reminds me of the Jato 3.3 on speed and top end. It is so sick and fast it intimidates my stepkids alittlebit. ( they have nitros and electrics that they drive but my maxx still intimidates them, I think its cause of how I drive it and stuff..) But anyways back on subject try a bigger spur. u will also get top end too.

With a properly tuned 3.3, driving in an area with decent traction..... you will pull wheelies. No question. Thats why all tmaxx 3.3's come with the adjustable wheelie bar. The stiffer the spring, th more it will weelie. With softer springs, there is more give in the suspension, thus allowing the rear of the car to sink down and absorb the rear momentum causing the front end to come up.

They are the classics built with a 3.3. In other words took the 2.5 version and upgraded everything. Hens all the uncontrolable wheelies. and where he used such a low tooth spur gear. as soon as he goes back to the 70 tooth or 68 tooth spur he would have more top end and yes it will always wheely but it will be more controlable

Yer I'm gunna get a bigger one see if that makes a difference . It goes like stink the way I've got it set up and tricked out . Thrashes my mates mta and my bro's savage .

Pickin up a 68 tooth from my lhs tomoro so lets c if that will tame it down .
