Has anyone ever used patriot rc after run oil, I have a brand new trx3.3 and have decided to start using the stuff, this particular brand I have never heard of but it was all I could find, just wanna know if it is any good.

havent heard of it but would imagine that something would be better than nothing. I've used Traxxas, Losi, Marvels, WD40. Its all about using a rust and cossosion preventative as opposed to nothing.

Wd is what I have used a few times and I hear a lot of guys say not to use it because it has silicone in it,but like u said something is better than nothing

i use wd40 all the time, and so do a lot of other people. has worked fine for me. most hobby shops will tell you not to use it, because they are trying to sell you after run oil. as for that brand, i have not heard of it.

marvel mystery oil, for after run oil, and air filter, w-d 40 is to thin for me, also good for your street truck. also marvel co has info about the oil and the cas no. and the site "Bob is the oil guy" has lots of info about mmo. did i say use it in your street truck?

I got a bunch of marvel I use for everything didn't know it was good aro, thanx for the tip

What about "Singer sewing machine oil"? very lightweight and seems to have similar qualities to the slight amount used in the transmission in the savage 4.6 2 speed.

think ill just stick with the marvelous, am curious obout the singer oil though,

I buy a quart of marvel mystery oil and then fill my 250cc fuel bottle and apply it that way. Much cheaper than buying the stuff at the lhs and the quart lasts forever.

I prefer ARO over WD40 but WD40 does work. I think the old traxxas manuals used to recommend using it at one point.

As for the stuff your asking about I never used it but I would guess its fine.

is ok i went and purchased the oil reccomended by my LHS. as it is especially formulated for gear lubrication and also for ARO...not cheap but only a drop is needed

Picked up marvel mystery oil at my local auto part,$4.80
For 16 oz. Ran into the dollar store to pick up a card and
Could'nt believe my eyes. They carry 16oz marvel mystery
Oil for $2.50. What a deal the stuff is awesome

i have been using MMO for 8-9 years. on a street truck MMO will make it start better, and clean carbon deposit. some say they get better MPG. but i dont. just dont use to much. check out ampcolubes.com

What a ripoff!!!! $2.50 at the dollar store? How do you charge 150% more than you advertise?? I guess times are getting pretty tough!:p:

i bought 1 gal of MMO at TSC for $14.00 or $17.00 can't remember. warring do not let the jug that MMO comes in set in the cold weather, it will crack and break. get a gas jug for the MMO.

Mineral oil is the stuff to use. I have a friend that has been doing this for 25 yrs and he says that is what to use. It's clean, cheap, and has no additives in it. Walmarts pharmacy, 16oz for about $2.00.

hmmm the MMO bottle cracked?? thats weird i have 2 quart bottles in the garage that aint heated and they never cracked. MMO is awesome, it does the trick have a seized lawnmower or fourwheeler? MMO is the stuff for the job. maybe i will try this for my rc. i have been using WD 40 so far.

i think i didnt say it right, they break in the cold when they get banged hard.
