Hey,i think this question is already on the site but i couldnt find it so ill ask anyways. I'm wondering what is the best type of afterrun oil to use other than the kind you buy at the hobby stores. i heard you can use transmission oil and some other kinds of oils. i currently use WD-40 in my Savage. so if you have any tips or comments comment. one more thing, can you mix oils and use them as after run, what i mean by this is can you use WD-40 and mix it with some other oil that is a good ARO and make is better or something like that. sorry if the question is dumb, I'm fairly new to this. Thanks

I would just go with the ARO at the LHS. I wouldn't take chances mixing things if I didn't have experience.

You can ues Marvel Mystery Oil, I was looking at my Hobbico ARO and it looked just like the MMO I use to have, so I smelled it and sure enough it smelled exactly the same, it has a very distinct smell, actully smells pretty good IMO, any way thats what I am going to buy next when I run out of what I have now... http://www.marvelmysteryoil.com/index.php

yeah i heard of MMO but were can i get it, i live in canada so should it be in an auto store or something? also i just read about transmission fluid and MMO mix "1/2 ATF- Automatic Transmission Fluid (easy to find many stores)
1/2 Marvel Mystery Oil - usually any NAPA will have this." is this something that would work?

I would not mix anything, just use the MMO, which I think you could find at a hardware store, or maybe a auto parts store, I think you can buy a gallon can for like $10 bucks...

do you just put the aro in the place that the glow plug goes? just pull the glow plug and put a few drops in, cus thats what i was told?

Yeah, you can put it in through the glow plug hole and through the Carb. i read alot how one is better than the other but i dont know, id just go with both.
