Hey I have been reading alot of posts and I'm curious about drilling out some of the front window for more air flow idk if I need to or not? Need some advice...

it wont hurt,,,

I dont run with the body on, i just put a roll cage on and run like that

So yes, put all the holes you want.

You definitely want to have a hole in the windshield, preferably in line with the cooling head. You need to get fresh air over the head to cool the engine.

Not to threadjack but didn't want to start another on the same topic. If I was to drill a bunch of small holes kinda making it kind of like a screen would it work? Or should I just drill one big hole? I don't really care for the look with on big on. thanks

Cut the whole wind shield and back window out and glue some mesh in. Kind of like chicken wire, but a tighter pattern. This keeps the big debris out and allows a lot of air flow. Wish I could tell you exactly what I used; I had a roll (8"x5') of this stuff lying around forever. Not sure what it was intended for. It has about a 1/4" square pattern. You can use similar material that's to your liking.

Yes, that will work too. It's just important to get air over the head to cool the engine.

Ya you want to cut holes in the front and possible one in front of the engine where the back window is. You want as much fresh air you can get flowing over the cooling head.

Or you could do like Olds, just cut off half the body :D He never has overheating issues, lol

Geez... Just because all you feller's use fancy full bodies...

Actually though, since I ditched the revo, I run full bodies now on both my AS and savage. Since I got a vice and a torch, it made it a lot easier to bend a roll bar to work around a body.
