Well I just ran my 9th tank on my tmaxx today and I get an occasional cut-off after WOT. It seems to cut off after idling down, at least thats what I notice. I slightly raised my idle and it cured the problem for awhile but then it did it again. Is there something else I need to adjust? Rolex mentioned that new engines have hiccups and that it usually takes time for the engine to completely break-in. I'm just worried because I am on my 9th tank already and wondering if there's something that I should be doing.

Also, is it normal to see tiny drops of fuel come through the exhaust? I've richened the HSN to where my maxx seems to perform excellent but I usually see tiny drops of fuel spraying from the exhaust. Should I richen it more?

Advice is greatly appreciated.

What's the outside temperature, and what's the temperature of the engine after running WOT with it?

Outside temp is around 60....and temp after WOT around 200.

If u have fuel coming out of the exhaust that means u are running very rich and could be bogging the engine. Try leaning out the HSN and richen the LSN.

Team17 said it best, your too rich on all ends. Also Most engines don't become totally broken in until 3/4 of a gallon, some more some less. Give it some time and it will wake up even more then it is.

If you get good punch off the line, don't touch the LSN yet, but you definately need to lean out the HSN.
Turn it in about 1/8 of a turn. After making several WOT passes, check the temp again. Keep it between 240 and 260 for now.

What about for it cutting out after WOT?

It's probably cutting out because it's flooding. Running at about 200 is filthy rich, and not good for the break in either. The break in is all about heat cycling at the proper temp.

Learned something new again. I will lean out the HSN more. Thanks.
