I might have to take the leap after searching around a little more, but I just found this 1/6 scale Hummer that would make a beautiful scaler lid. Full interior.
I hate to think of dropping $85 just for the body, but this is a biggy.
12" high, 10" wide, 24" long.
Found it through Hobbytron.com

EDIT:
Sorry, it's not a Hummer, it's a Hum-V. That's why it caught my eye.

LMAO. I'm waiting on parts for the Savvy, so I need something as a distraction. This would look really good with mud and dust on it. :)

24 inches long!!! 2 FEET!!! Major scaler, great detail already built in. Big brush bumper, roof rack, wipers, lights. I can see it now, all decked out in badass camo.
Try to ignore the silly wheel lights. They'll be the first to go.

I just got back from a search and the only other one I found was $149.
This one, on clearance from Hobbytron includes another $22.45 for shipping. Well, what's a hundred bucks when I already have most of the running gear from the Axial I tore apart for the last chassis build.
I think this one would sit just perfect on the 2.2 wheels.
Looking for a volunteer to try to talk me out of this.

u got a link to one of these thingfs please, I'm intrigued now..................

Sctratch that, i found it.

Rolex, did u mean camo like this ??

$100 for a body really isn't that bad if it's what you want. As I've stated many times before I'm looking to pick up a 1:4 scale stock car someday and those bodies are $100 and they are simply Lexan like our smaller scale bodies, just REALLY big.

I say do it if that's what you want. The only thing I 'want' you to do is run the Savage.

too late. Why couldn't one of you have stopped me. I just took a 10 minute break from here and got it. It should be at my door by Thursday. :banana-mario:

I've done a lot of camo through the years, so I'm thinking more along the lines of a Marine desert tan.

This was my T-Maxx from a few years back, and I really liked the look.

Ralph I'm positive I've seen it somewhere for around $55, i'll do some looking again and let you know if i find it soon.

Since you cleared me to buy that body, I promise to run the Savage....Just for you.

Slowgreen, I found several, mostly different body styles like the open back. This is the one I like best. Everything else was an H2 or 3 or lacked detail.

ya sorry Rolex, the one i was talking about was just a review where it said street value of $50 wich stuck in my head. sorry. should be sweet, look forward to it.

Cool, i got just the thing to put em on too......

Now, where is that rig and where are my tools................................

I saw a 1/6th Hummer at Toys R Us @ 2 weeks ago that was like $35 on Clearance.

Toys R Us carries New Bright. Their Hummer is the H2. No way is that an appropriate scale off-roader, that's why I grabbed the original Humm-V version.

I wonder if they processed my order yet. I hope they have a night shift. :)
