  1. Bashing
So I have 2 Sandmaster mk2's but parts are really hard to find and I want a car with a bit more punch so I am planning on selling these for something more modern and with more punch.
All I want is a tough buggy just for bashing, it will be on road part of the time and also very harsh off road with jumps etc.
i am looking at an ACME condor 1/10 with an ACME .18 engine. Does anybody know if this is a suitable car for what I want?

A buggy probably is not what you want for what you are wanting to do. Most people who do that kind of running use a monster truck or a stadium truck.

Ok thanks. Is there any make I should or shouldn't get?

Traxxas Jato 3.3 is what i have my eye on for the next addition to my rigs. Pretty new to the Nitro Rc world and have a Traxxas T-Maxx and a Revo. Maxx has a 3.3 and is very strong and mildly stable. The Revo has the 2.5R and i LOVE everything about it and its much more stable in turning and on the jumps. Granted that i am not very big on jumps but what i have hit with the Revo, it has taken well. I'm even happy with the 2.5R in it as far as power, happy enough that i just ordered a brand new one to replace the one thats in it now. Over the 3.3 for just about $15 more than the 2.5R.

I personally like the Traxxas Revo. Great suspension and handling for a monster truck.

The Traxxas Nitro Stampede is also a decent stadium truck. I would not recommend a Jato for a first truck.

not the hpi rush evo? i have heard they arnt 2 bad and judging by ebay prices they are within my budget which is about £100/$160. whats the verdict on these?
i do really like thee look of the t-maxx but they seem to be fairly costly on ebay (probably as they are good trucks?), where els is there to look for a used one??

I got my T-maxx 4910 with a 3.3 installed and a full gallon of 20% along with parts list dvd and manual for $200 off Craigslist.

wow! iv been looking every where but not found one that cheap. could it be that in the uk they just cost more?
iv looked at reviews of the hpi rush and it seems there is a reason that it is cheap

Most Hpi and Traxxas are going to be decent. Stay way away from Acme , Smartech, Himoto, Hispeed (HSP), Redcat since parts are damn hard to get a hold of.

I believe the HPI is on-road only.

o right, are stadium trucks just buggys then basicly or is it only the hpi

What does every one think of a rervo 3.3 for a newbie like me??

The Revo 3.3 was my first Nitro rig, so I'd say yes without hesitation.

100% yes, it is my first nitro as well, just got it a couple of days ago. I love it, no clue yet how to tune it but I am slowly learning thanks to great advice on these forms. I will say one thing, it is a fast bugger hehehe

Just out of interest what are the dimensions of the t-nmaxx and revo??

I have the condor, one thing I would strongly advise is you replace all the plastic suspension parts
