About to do a trade.

I handle everything I trade just like I do purchases. I'm selling something, and I have a lot of good feedback and the people of the forum know me, so when dealing with a new member, I tell them that since I'm the one with feedback and they're a brand new member, all purchases will have to be paid for before the item is shipped. Meaning, I will have the item boxed up and ready to go. When I receive their item and check everything out, I will ship their item immidiately. If they aren't comfortable with that, I hold on to my stuff. We just had a member get scammed out of $500 bucks from a guy listing a baja in the for sale section.

insurance, delivery confirmation and signature confirmation... Signature confirmation has saved me numerous times..

Oh okay. Thanks. Actually I was just doing a straight trade (Car for car). Should I just get the insurance and tracking number, or also the signature confirmation (What does this do?)

Deffinatly get the signature confirmation as well. this means when they get your package, they have to sign for it. This way, they can't have any excuse on not recieving it.. DEFFINATLY worth the extra money.

Charlie, did this happen on this forum?

Charlie, did this happen on this forum?

Yes, it happened on the forum, to one of our members that's on here a lot. He's a great guy that does a lot for other people, and he buys and sells all the time.

Talk about a no good scum bag, I would like to rip out his esophagus and feed it to a starving scavenger dog while he's alive, and then cut his nuts off with a wooden spoon. We have such a great environment here and so many good people, and someone like this comes along and makes where you can't trust anyone.

It's okay guys. The guy I'm trading with gave me his number and he left me a voice mail saying his name. I accidentally called him. I also have his email address.
