Yeah I know, I little late for cold weather tips, sorry.
WHen I was going out to bash this winter, I would sometimes take my Mustang, it's new so I would put the maxx in the trunk. The problem was that by the time I got to the spot, my engine would be around 10 to 20 deg F! Now, most of you know how hard it is to start in the cold, so this is something I came up with to help out, and believe me it works fantastic.
You ever see those little disposable hand warmers? You can pick up four for a buck in most gas stations. I take a couple and wrap them around my head with a rubber band. They keep the head at around 100 deg f. that makes for some quick starts in the cold. also, when you are done running, and you don't want you head to cool off too fast, you wrap them back around for the ride home.
