speaking of thinking your own sister is cute...........
Has anyone heard from digger lately?
Bite me bitch!
I know you're wanting to meet my sister... :p:

I checked with her, trying to set ya up. She is pretty busy.
The way the economy has been going, she has had to double up on the still.
Kinda bothers me all the suit and ties from that Wall Street place coming round though.
Even had some of them car-builder guys from Detroit calling. Airport is pretty close, but they got pissed off when we told em we didn't have a limo service. I got a feeling they will be back ...
She has made it in the finals of the toughman contest.
But she is still fighting chickens on Wed. and Fri. (be the best time to catch her.) I'll send ya a PM.

Still here every once in a while... Just crap either keeping me busy or keeping me bummed out.

Damn, came in late as usual...
Hope I can derail your thread Tom. :D Sux about your LHS.
Even worse is it is going to put a bind on your racing! How is the home track coming? Are you going to try to get some races there?
Hope everything else is going your way bro.

Don't forget Tuesday nights Peeing for distance finals. :D

Everything is going ok for me... thanks for asking. I am extremely busy but loving life. My stepson is 7 going on 30, and my daughter is now 8 months old and I wish everyday for her to stop growing so damn fast.

Racing as an organized sport is probably over for me now. The track is complete in the back yard. I will have to snap some pics of it and post in my track thread. All the physical track work is done for the season. I still may add and or remove some jumps, and I still have to purchase the rest of the pipe to outline the track, but all in all I think it turned out very well. I was the only one who actually worked on the track itself. My father in law and a family friend plowed and ran a disc through it, but after that it was all me! LOL My racing now is just glorified bashing. My wife and mother in law have both made sure that I was not going to run anything organized. So other than a couple friends at a time and my father and stepson, no organized racing will take place. Which sucks becuase it was a whole lot of fun getting beat by strangers! LOL

Hope all is well with you my friend. Good to talk to you again.

Tom

I think the racing would be the hardest to let go. Never did it, just not a track close enough.
When I was flying the guys were great. Got all the help I needed and I always looked forward to seeing what everyone was doing. I miss it and hope to get back.

Figure you will still have a some good times with the track. I can see a lot of the friends showing up for an occasional race. Probably enough that the wife will be getting upset.

Hope ya still have a lot of fun. Don't give up on it.

Thanks man! I am sure I will have a blast.... running the RC even if it is just by myself still beats not running it. You are right.. the friendships and just seeing what everyone else was doing and what new rigs they had, or just what new parts or tires they were trying... that to me was great. I remember breaking a part early in a race... in fact it was still during the first heat race. I didn't have the part to fix it and was packing up to go home, and I was still new and didn't know alot of folks. I thought my day was done. You know everyone of the regulars pitched in to help me fix it. I went on to race the rest of the day. I will never forget that.

That is what makes rc so much fun bro!

Well yesterday was the final day that my LHS would be open. I should not have been there on my feet so soon after the snip, and I am paying the price today! I am a bit sorer than I should be today. Well I was only supposed to be there long enough to say goodbye, but a bunch of us that raced there showed up and we ended up talking for a good 5 hours. In fact I was the second to last sale the store had. We stayed until closing. My wife was pissed... but it was fun talking about the old times. I am really going to miss that place.

Tom

The last day of any place that's draws a specific crowd and has such a camaraderie, is a sad day indeed. Unfortunately, it's happening much too often these days.

Glad to hear all is well buddy. Again, sorrry to hear about your LHS? that is a sad thing. On a brighter note... it sounds like you are the frontrunner to hold the next RCNT Bash :)

That would be sweet! It would probably end in my being kicked off the family farm, but it would be worth it right? LOL
