Hey Dom, here is the new lid for your new brushless truggy. It looks waaaaaaaaaay better in person, the flash doesn't do the body justice, and you really can't appreciate the fine details in the pics. You'll have to let me know how ya like it when you get it. Heres a little preview for you, I hope ya like it.

It will be an honor to run this lid!! I am very happy with the results, and can certainly appreciate the hard work put into it. Thank you so much Joe!!

Skills bro MADDD SKILLS!! Have you tried to get something going with your LHS??

great job how long does something like that take to do and how can someone learn how to do it from reading books or taking a class or trial and error
i really want to learn just for my own use not to sell

Looks real good Joe. You have the magic touch.

Thanks guys.

Dom, wait till you se it in person, there is a lot of detail that doent show in the pics. But I'm glad you like it man!

Mr4x4, I have been painting for a litle over 4 years now, started off like everyone else with rattle cans, bought a cheap brush, then a better brush. I learned by trial and error. No better way to learn something than by doing it.

This one took a lot of time. There is quite a bit of fine detail that doesn't show well in the pics. The masking took quite a bit of time in itself, especially the flame pinstriping, I easily have over 10 hours in it, and a buttload of paint, that's a big ass body, lol.

Buggyracer, what's Tebo action?

Joe, your the man. That looks fantastic.

Do you freehand the flames or use a mask?

Nice work. I think Ill draw some stick figures on my next body so it will have more then 1 color.

You do great work. I dont see how you can let them go after all the time you spend.

I just really enjoy doing them, and to have one of my creations go to a friend, and have them enjoy it is well worth the time I spend.

Joe this statment is proof alone..You are a true man of your words..
I respect you very much for who you are!

I Love you man!

Very nice work Joe... can't wait to see the detail in person..
I wish I had a better area to paint some lids. I really miss it..

Dude! That's hot! I'm planning to do the same paint scheme on an RC18T body. I hate to copy but technically I already was.. it's the same basic layout as the FT GT2 that's in all the mags... Your version is tight as hell though.. very sweet!
