Hey NA ! All I can say is DAMN!. That poop must've hurt like hell! I got that before but not at the same degree of pain as you. I sope your eyesight improves. Don't want hear about you hitting on guys because you didn't see HER/HIM right. LOL Hope you get better. Take care !

WOW sorry to hear the badnews but if you get the surgery your likly to get your sight back eye surgery have greatly improved recently (like 2 years ago) my brother had a blowgun dart ricochet into his eye and it went trough and trough but the doctors were able to successfully able to save it by putting in a fake lense on the outside of his eye (they are on the inside in regular eyes) he now has better than 20/20 in that eye he just can play football or any contact sports for the rest of his life but thats a small price for having your vision but the cool thing about it is its like a deer eye if its in just the right light it reflects and glows i was like poop cory you f*ckin eyes glowin he like poop thats awsome. Well all that was just to say that eye surgey has a pritty good success rate nowadays

EDIT- Oh and i better watch out more now cause i too wear contacts. Just a question are you gunna kep wearin or you gettin a pair of glasses just curious??

My neighbor had a surgery on his eye and it think its what your talking about NA, they remove part of your cornea and replace it with a new one. My neighbor had a hard time telling who I was after the surgery though, I guess it takes some getting used to. Hope it works out for you NA.

NA - Holy chit dude....this is the worse RC accident I've heard in recent years. I hope to god that your vision isn't permantely injuired in that eye bro. I'm not real religous but I'll say a prayer for ya dude. CHit like this reallly puts things in prespective brotha. My good friend from MIT has serious permanent nerve damage in his right leg from a 1/5th buggy that went into his leg going around 35mph. Broke most every bone in his ankle too.

UPDATE:

Just to give everyone a heads up - went to the doc on the 26th. Said that the damage was definitly there, so surgery would be required. Good news though, is that the surgery should give that eye perfect vision, and i wont need to wear a contact in it anymore. I guess the surgery is a bit like cataract surgery. They remove the damaged cornea and replace with a fake one, or permanent contact lense.

I have another appt today at 930am, so i will give a heads up after that too.

will one eye look different from the other? that would be kinda cool and wierd lol but who cares 1 :eyepatch: eye 2 eyes half an eye, as long as you can drive. the rest came out longi really meant people take eyes for granted like, playing bb wars without eye wear. really makes you think twice about your eyes. ok well sry for the mean remark I thougt of the meaning in my head but came out wrong condolences...

I've got a large poop to the eye before and boy did it sting. I was inspecting a malfuntioning engine and had the carb off, looking down at the crankshaft looking for scratches. I slowly pulled the p/s and it bursted its load into my peering eye. I probably should word that better but it's worth a laugh. Nitro burns but having a contact lens fuse to your eye would be even worst! I'm so sorry to hear a story like thing happening to anyone. My best wishes and prayers for your eye man. Did you happen to catch that guys name? I have yet to finish reading the thread.

update- had my first meeting with the magruder institute, an eye surgery center. i am going back the end of this week for surgery. wish me luck. they say i will be in and out in about 45 minutes
