I have the hpi evo+ and I wanted to ask a few questions before I bought some parts, any help would be awesome..

I have a 75cc tank and under hpi option parts they have a 75cc racing tank so what is the diff betwenn the two?

Also I wanted some of there red springs, what is the diff between them and my stock springs?

One more ?

I want some new wheels, will any touring car wheels fit or do I need a certain size?

Touring wheels wil fit if they are the same hex size/axle size. dont know bout the other stuff.

Is this the R40 tank (HPOI part # 72525)? The 75cc Racing tank has an internal baffle (divider) and a lower reservoir for better fuel pickup. There isn't any difference between the spring colors, they are all the same compression. And any 12mm hex wheels will work, though you may need spacers or a specific offset depending on your body.

the racing tank doesn't have the primer on it and fuel pick up line connects mid tank and draws from a deeper reservoir like amoeba said. Absence of the primer creates a better pressure system to "push" fuel into the carb. Here it is mounted in my RS4 3 SS

Thank you.

Is there a bigger tank I could get? Also what are those zip ties for on your cooling head

^^ yep and it also helps a little bit from bending fins and losing cooling efficiency. I don't know of a bigger tank. You could probably come up with some way to use a 1/8 tank but it would be tough to mount. Theres really not that much room at all.

Yea I just hate feeling up every 10 minutes or so LOL. Does anyone know a good place to buy wheels from on eBay?

Actually they are colored just for that reason. So that when you're tuning the car, you can pick a different spring rate at a glance in the pits. They're listed here, about 1/4 of the way down the page.

I stand corrected. I had taken a quick look and didn't see any info that specified differences. Thanks for the clarification!
