RC Driving Style
Man we had a blast today!!! I found a local Skate park across town that I never knew was there (lived here for 6 yrs), anyway... I took the Savage out there to get the feel of how a larger truck drives. I just got this truck 2 days ago and had previously ran a nitro evader for a few weeks, but thats it, no other driving experience with RC's. I couldn't believe how easy it was to drive this thing! Before I knew it I was sending this thing 8ft in the air off the half pipe and other jumps they had there. This truck took it and wanted more, simply amazing!

Funny thing was, I was worried about being "in the way" while the kids were there with their boards and blades but it wasn't long before they stopped and watched as I made a few runs. I just can't get over how much control you have with these trucks... even in the air!

My kids and I will definatly be going back out there next weekend!!!!

woooot.. get your vid camera ready m8. cause i want some vids.
your story sounds very cool. really want to see some of your action

sounds like you guys had a blast.try to get a video of your next bash.its fun to see the savage go thru all kinds of abuse and come back for more.i wish i had one lol.

I'll be sure and bring the digital camcorder with us next weekend. I wasn't about to bring it today and show yall my screwups while learning this beast. LOL

I just can't believe that as bad as I bashed this thing today... it didnt care. I swear I could hear the exhaust pipe laugh at me as it tumbled through the grass ;)

I've ordered a rotostart, reverse module setup and the dual disc brake parts and hope to have them mid week. Although I'm wondering about the reverse module... why back up? just drive over the dam thing lol (I.E curbs used to be a problem before the savage).
