Its a 65 with a 349 3 duece setup with 4 on the floor. This is my friend's mom's first car and she refuses to sell it or fix it. It has sat outside for YEARS. I got it running once then the starter fried.
 
Got any post bash photo's? You know, the ones with parts hanging off the t-maxx's? ;)

Was able to get a bit of bashing in today with a buddy of mine. Our first run of the year. Took a bit of vid and a few photo's, but since it was just two of us, the vids are a bit boring. I haven't edited them up yet.

Sure was fun to get out there again though. Glad to see others are doing the same!
 
I realized it was a '65 after I posted. Not quite an official GTO yet, but a Tempest with the extras and the first GTO badge. DUDE! Make her put it away. That thing is worth some serious bux in good condition. It's a ragtop!!! That makes it worth WAY more. When the top goes down, the price goes up. Get it garaged!! I am NOT going to tell you again! Don't MAKE me come up there!

You dont know how long and how many times I've tried. The interior still looks awesome for what its been through. Its all black vinyl, with front buckets. That car in good condition could prolly bring $50K. She doesn't car. I can't believe that was her first car.

The really only things that were broke was the 5 driveshafts I went through. Broke another one today. I've ordered a custom one from RC Alloys today. SCREW PLASTIC! I ahve a few other videos, but I can't get my video editor to work so I can put them together. I also have a lot of stills of all the trucks together. I was going to do a video telling about the trucks, who owns them, ect. and then go into the videos of the bash session. We bashed for almost 6 hours on Friday. I have a video of my maxx doing cartwheels through the yard, over the ditch, finally crossing the road. Then a truck comes right by. I was like NOOOO, but he swerved so it was cool.

My best friend bought a '67 LeMans convertible brand new. 326 with the console Hurst shifter, black interior, front buckets. That car was a GREAT driver. We took it to Florida and back.
Yours, by the way, is the early LeMans GTO, not the Tempest. My mistake.
I had a '64 Grand Prix, '69 Grand Prix and a '69 GTO 400 c.i. with a dual pump dual feed 4 bbl Holly carb. 7MPG. :) LOVED Pontiacs.

Here are 2 different paint jobs I gave the '69 Granny after the GTO was wrecked. That's the GTO scoop panel brazed onto the stock hood.

I love the white paint job. Its pretty sexy!! :whistle: (jk) It is a hot car. This car has the Hurst shifter as well.
 
Thanks. We bashed the crap outta them. I broke 5 driveshafts that day and blew out a rear end. I was the only one that suffered any damage. Too much motor for my Maxx.
