well i want to put the longer a arms on my classic t max and i want to upgrade my drive shafts and stuff for a 2.5r motor when my pro 15 dies will the 2.5 and 3.3 a arms work with my classic t max thanks everyone.:D

ok sweet thanks alot one more question will the grey transmission like the 3.3 bolt into the older black transmission mounts

Yes no issues at all however the front drive shaft for the 3.3 is differnt and it causes an issue. The 3.3 drive shaft has pegs for the brake disc and it is twice as wide so the chassis has to be trimed down a bit unless you can find the gray case 2.5 brake disc. VERY hard to find these days. Other option is go with MIP CVDs in the center which are metal and work pretty well. Only issue with that is you must find a 2.5 Revo front shaft because the 3.3 T-Maxx is longer in the front so the 3.3 shaft will not fit. The slider style shaft can be made to work if you cut it down.

so if i get a stock set off 3.3 driveshafts i can cut it so they will slide together and trimming the frame is no big deal i can do that but the driveshafts will bolt up to the classic max diffs?

I think they will. Trying to remember if they were the same size or not. I "Think" they are. It has been so long since I had one that was stock. But if memory serve then yes triming the chassis and cutting the shaft down makes it work. You have to trim a good bit out of the chassis. You loose a bolt hole for your T/B servo mount...

well let me ask you this would it be better to just by the 3.3 chassie and swap all my stuff over my servos and baulk heads a arms and stuff should bolt up right i am just looking at my options lol.

Yeah it would be a lot easier actually. It does not take long to swap it over really. I was going to mention that and kinda brain farted.

ok sweet think i am going with that rout over time all get the a arms then shafts and cassie then start the swap will i need new braces also

Check the FS section there were a set of aluminum braces on there...not sure which version though. Some good aluminum bulks would be another thing to keep your eye out for too.

ok if you put a 2.5 or 3.3 in it you will need to upgrade the wheel shafts also you will twist them takes a little longer with the 2.5 but they will twist ,and the 3.3 will make them look like a twizzler.I used the 3.3 revo shafts and have had no problems.and with the 3.3 it is a wheelie monster.I had to use the revo axle carriers also.and the wide maxx suspension kit, makes it i think about 1" - 1 1/2" wider helps with stability.and you will have to do the FOC conversion.
