Some guy on ebay has 10 Savage SS and a 25 forsale on ebay, starting bids at $99!

0 feedback!!!

YeaH OKAY, and I can't believe people are actually bidding!!

Hmmm, that is an awfully low price!, only 1/4 of what hobby shops are charging (RTR cost anyway), that don't sound right........sounds too good to be true!

There's a difference between STARTING the bids at $99 and having the BUY PRICE at $99.

There's people that sell $1000 Dell laptops starting the bid at $.01 so it's not unusual.

Some people just get their business licenses and have just started to do stuff online. That explains zero feedback.

Could be a scam, could not be a scam. If he doesn't take paypal, I wouldn't bid.

ya i was going to say, alot of people start their things at $0.01, i saw a guy that sold a supermaxx for $2,500 and the bid started at $1.00

do any of yall remember guys sellin on ebay website links that could get you a savage for $100. the buy now was like $20 for a link that (could) get you a savage for like $100 bones.

i looked for all the savages for sale on ebay, new and old, and i didn't see any for $99, could you post the link for this, i have to see it to believe it
i already have my 25, i just wanna see his sales

here's an item number.. just do a search for the other things he's selling...

there all up over $150 to $200 now..

Item number: 3163966763

If you paypal it, you can have insurance on the transaction so if anything goes wrong, you'll get your money back.

I don't mind if people have no feedback, just so long as the payment requirements aren't something like, "I only take CASH (dollar bill$) and I want it sent to a PO Box"

In other words, it just can't sound all suspicious.

Besides, you gotta start somewhere.

Just use a US Postal Service money order, they have this thing called mail fraud if anything goes wrong.

I start just about every auction I have on Ebay for $1.00. It saves a ton on the listing fees.

now i forget what its called, but Kwong the Ebay Maniac can help me. There is a price....OOO...Called the RESERVE....thats where you can't take it home unless the price meets the predetermined reserve, which is unavaliable to the public.

As long as the people paypaled the money, then they'll get it back....if they're smart enough to file a complaint.

ya u have to watch out for people with no or neg. feedbacks, u just can't trust them at all. I love ebay that is where i got my savage .21 but ebay is a huge risk no matter what it is. :fro:

buying on the internet

i mostly reaserch my items online i dont buy from the internet 90% of the time unless it is a huge company like dixie art or hpi racing i mean it is truly ridiculous at what people do in the age that we live in i know for sure that if i ever have to buy anything online ill be sure to ask you guys to "interogate"

holy crap can I smell a scam or what?

I feel bad for that dude that won 4 of his auctions...

But in defense of Ebay... I buy tons of stuff, just read the feedback first..

Not entirely true...unless the seller displays the Purchase Protection 'shield' and/or is a Squaretrade member, you stand a very good chance of getting 'ripped'...unless a seller...#1...displays the 'shield'...#2....has no/very few negative FBs.... I dont bid....:>)...RCR
