I am looking for a 93 Chevy Camaro nitro rc car. Does anyone have any ideas on where i could possibly find one? it has to be the 93 body.

The 2 best companies I can think of are HPI and Proline. Both have a good selection of bodies.

The only 3rd Gen Camaro body I know of is the one from CustomWorks RC (the place owned by Tony Stewart). You can get it at Tower Hobbies' web site. Note it is a race body and is thinner than most normal touring car bodies.

There's no nitro RTR that I know of with this body. Your best bet is to buy the nitro car of your choice (the HPI RS4 Evo is a nice ride, as is the Traxxas) and then have the body trimmed and painted, put it on the chassis and stick it back in the box for your boyfriend (saw your other post)...

Personally, if he's never had a nitro car I'd go electric. Even though I have four nitro R/Cs for the first timer to not get frustrated and leave the sport an electric is a great starting point. I just got an HPI Sprint 2 Flux (brushless) and even though I don't have a LiPo battery for it yet, it's a nice setup, and you can put 200mm body shells on it.

HTH...
