I still remember my wife at that time yelling "oh my god" when I was in the other room. She had caught the first news report, when they still thought it was an accident. I went in to see they were announcimg the first plane had hit. Then I remember how sickening it was to see the second plane hit, and the realization that it wasn't an accidemt. That was such a terrible day.

At the time I was quality control at a manufactured housing plant and I had just stepped in the office and seen the first video.
I just about chit myself and like you, I couldn't believe it.
My friend who is a math teacher in a private school located down the street so they no doubt felt the percussion. I'm talking the shock from it when their principle came over the intercom evacuate immediately.
