ALright guys i am just getting back into r/c trucks.. It kinda sucks casue i have to start from scratch(I got rid of ALL my rc parts and tools). SO i have $750 to spend and i am going to order the Savage X ss Kit. SO far here's the list of thing i am ordering. I was wondering if i was missing anything or if i should get anything else.. MY total is $645 at the moment..

yeah fuel, bottle, and glow plugs are obvious especially for intial break in..
As for the RX pack i'm thinkin the HPI 1200 pack will that do? and what charger should i get for it? Anything else? Maybe a 3 speed? idk all suggestions welcome..

thanks a lot, i completely forgot about that website. um any other reccomended accessories for the savage X?

fuel line and tires if the kit doesn't come with them
batteries
temp guage
some paint if the lid does not come prepainted Even just solid black looks good if masked right and stickers applied

I would spend the extra few bucks and get the new hot shot 2 super glow ignitor. It's 5000MaH and lasts forever!

Also, go ahead and get yourself a hot racing steel spur gear. This will definitely lower your frustration level. The new plastic spurs are crap and you will shred them like they are going out of style when you put that new big block on there like we know you are going to.LOL

well he said he getting the savage x SS KIT wich i think already come woth the strong spur gear!
 
i am no longers getting the SS guys... I am getting the Savage X RTR. heres the list of what i'm getting as of now will be placing my order tonight depending on if i get my money or not..

ONE more questions. Will the Piranha Charger charge both the hump pack and the regular battery pack??
 
Yes
Peak charges 1-8 NiCd or NiMH cells.
Peak charge current adjustable from 0.1 to 5A (3A with AC)

I charge my reg stick packs about 2- 2.5amp for my roto start and a hump pack at .25 to .5 amp.
You will never want to change your humppack at more than one amp.
