hay guys. I know that a 6v will work on my t-maxx with my reciever and my servos but what will happen with a 7.2v. not shure if i will wreck something or what.

you wont wreck anything but its just a huge battery compared to a little receiver pack.. pluss youll have to change the conectors so that it will fit to your receiver

I saw on ebay last night there was a smaller 7.2v lipo with the correct connector for a reciever. Might want to look into that.

ya dude... why do you want a stick pack to run your radio gear?

because i hate changing batteries and with a stick pack i already have i can run 7.2v 3200mah so it will last for a long time. i dont race so i dont rly care about that little bit of extra weight

oh.. ok . i see your work.. if i was to do this, wich i wouldnt. i would disasemble the battery, and reconfigure it so that the cells were stacked, like 3 on the top, and 3 on the bottom. you can get some heat shrink from you hardware store and you already half to do some soldering for your connectors..on my hpi 5b the receiver pack has 2 diffrent connector. one for the rceiver and the other with the tamiya plug for your Quick charge.. good luck and keep us posted..

well i went and worked on it for a bit and i have used a different switch and put the batterie ontop of the rear bumber mount. i dont care much about ballance either and i like doing wheelies so i think it will work out good. i havent been able to drive it yet though because its only 2 wheel drive right now and i have snow so tommoorow morning i am going out well the snows still hard and i will put my front drive shaft in.
