I just found out about this lid, I love it, and have always loved gen 1 Camaros, I am definitely gonna have to get one of these for my RS4 3, the painting options are endless, old school flames, true fire, classic stock, etc....

Very cool. I just ordered some VTA gear for my JRXS. I opted for the '70 Cuda though. I'm partial to Chrysler muscle body designs. Matte chrome wheels as well. I have not yet decided on which color to replicate.

Well I wouldnt go with sublime, since that's been done and published in several r/c magazines :p:

All kidding aside, is there a track by you that is going to be running the VTA rc series? I checked their site and there is none in NY other than way upstate, that's something I think I could get in to if there was one close to me. I just wish someone would make a Mark Donahue 72 Javelin.

My mom had a 71 z28 that she bought when it was 2 years old. She sold it a few years ago, no engine/trans, needing full restoration, to my oldest sister. Should be a sweet ride again once she's done with it. I was never a fan of the 69 camaro although I dont like cars that everyone wants to much. I would like to see someone come out with a old 67 contintental. :D

That's a beautiful Camaro, but I'd like to see a '66 Olds Toronado, a '69 Grand Prix and a '76 Lincoln Continental MK IV, three of the favorite 1:1 cars I've owned in the past.

HPI has the best lids IMO. They have several cool old muscle cars that I like including the Cuda mentioned above and a nice Corvette and Mustang.

Don't do Plumb-Crazy Purple either Josh :puke:

I actually know a guy that had a 'Cuda painted pink at our old outdoor road track. He called the car the Pink Panther.

Love first gen camaros nice lid put one on my old bolink pan car really dressed it up went blue with white ss stripes would love to see more of them out there.

Thanks for the photo Joe. I think illreplicare that color. I think that's pretty sweet looking. Not sure which graphics id prefer to do though. I sorta like the Hemi quarter panels the most.

does anyone know if their is a 79 camaro Z28 body. thats going to be my first car, pertty bad a** for a 14 year olds car.

I had '80 Camaro Berlinetta with a factory 350. That was a fun gas-guzzler.

I had a 74 type LT that I completely rebuilt in to an animal! My dad was personal friends with the owner of Crane Cams, so he hooked me up with a trunk load of serious performance parts. After 14 tickets in one year I sold it and bought my 73 AMX, wish I still had the AMX :\
