hey guys .
my son just picked this thing up reasonably cheap and it has 71000 miles on it,it sat for 18 years in a garage and then out side for the last year ,believe it or not we stuck a battery in it last evening to make sure all systems were a go and i asked him to hit the switch to see it would turn over and the damn thing started ,lol
just curious if anyone would know what these things are selling for restored or a as is basis ,i have pics of it and honestly there is 1 small dent about the size of your thumb on the front fender other then that it is perfectly straight
now granted it has some rust but nothing major
lemme know what ya think

Nice find!!! Rust?? This is Pa you know! LOL

These cars are a hit or miss from what little I have seen. I have seen really nice convetables go for decent coin. I would say get her running, and have fun with the car.

Good thing for you is it has a manual trans. You're only other option in 67 was a 2 speed powerglide. It would tach out in a school zoon.

I'v always loved the corvair and the Monza spider.

A kid I went to high school with had a dad that collected those. They were the only ones I ever saw. He had 3 or 4 of them all in different forms of completedness. He had one that was pristine, one that was primered, one that was down to the bare metal and one that looked like he found it in a lake. Cool cars for their time. I'm always a fan of old cars.

theres a little rust here and there .the worst is right at the battery box and the lower left front fender ,nothing that can't be easily patched
he is already talking about puttingtags and all on it and running it but i would sooner see him do a restore on it and run it as a antique which limits the miles you may run in a year

Just don't let Ralph Nader find out you have one, he only wrote a book about them. lol
