51/25 direct drive gearing for electric Vesla.

Hey everyone. Is anyone running the direct drive gears (51/25) in their electric Vesla? I ordered them during the recent 40% off sale and would love to know about others experiences.

If you are running them how was the install? How does it run? What motor/esc set up are you running?

For reference I’m currently running Hobbywing 800kv max5 combo on 8s. I’m geared 19/57 now and It runs great. Temps stay way low and it rips!

For those out there in the Veslaverse, I Ended up sending them back for a refund. The more I thought about my drive line acting as the slipper, the more I didn’t want the direct drive. Unlike some, I enjoy when my rigs come back home unbroken and I thought the gearing would put too much stress on it.
