In what ways in Gmail better than the email I have right now? I don't know much about it.

You get 1 gig of storage, well I just checked and I have 2207 mb which is 2.2 gigs available.

Well, you get the 2 gigs of storage but I use gmail for things other than personal mail. Basically, it's my garbage bin for spam. I like the "Spam blocker" of my ISP but also don't like the fact that I have to approve of email that aren't on my addressbook. It's a good option but sometimes proves to be a nuissance. Gmail is my "public" email.

I use gmail and netscape to sign up for crap that I know will bombard me with junk, spam and any other. My netscape account get loaded up quick with garbage, seems g-mail blocks a lot of poop from getting through. Thing I like about g-mail is you can setup Outlook to check for mail on there as well as your regular home accounts or whatever. So I never even need to go to the gmail website.
