4wd????????

Hey guys my truck that is 4WD is acting like a 2wd and the front wheels are just free spinning... any help????

Check the drive shaft going to the front axle and see if the grub screws have backed out. I've had it happen to me.

If the main shaft turns but the axles don't, you blew out a diff.

My s30 keeps loosing dogbones in front, so check yours.

how do you tighten the dog bones?

You can't tighten them, they are the axles. Run from diff to wheel.
Also the grub screws on driveline are extremely bad about backing out on them.
if neither of them could be diff stripped.

Rebuild it . Have to get new gear set. Easy job.

well how do i know for sure thats what is wrong with it... my front wheels will spin freely... i feel like some thing is just not tightend becouse i will take wheels off and spin that big bolt and it will spin dog bone but barely spin the other sides

Sounds like diff or driveshaft. See if grub screw in driveshaft is backed out. If not probably the diff then

where is the grubscrew and what do u mean by backed out?

Look at front driveshaft real good, you will see it. Look hard it sits flush.
Backed out means it comes loose and needs to be screwed back in. Use blue locktite

Well just figured out that i lost a dog bone... anyone know where i can get one or where has the cheapest one

Mine is bad about loosing them. Had to order from redcat. Better order a stockpile of them

I run it like that no problem but the handling sucks, up side it will cut doughnuts now.
Don't remember I ordered a ton of parts

No problem. My s30 blew the glow plug completely out of motor and lost it today. 3 minutes later jumoed the revo and snapped a shock. So then broke out the new lossi mini 8 and snapped the front shock mount off front diff so now it needs ne diff housing also.
So feel lucky atleast yours still drives. Lol
