4tec carb adjustment

Hello I finally got my 30 year old traxxas 4tec running but am still trying to figure out how to adjust the carb the right way. The issue I'm having is when I accelerate the car and then brake, it shuts off. Any time I brake the car will shut off. I can't figure out the problem. Any suggestions?

Try adjusting the idle screw in 1/32"

Your idle is held by the servo instead of the idle screw. When not applying throttle or brakes, you should screw in your idle screw until you see the throttle slider move, then stop immediately
