Hehe - I want one, check this out. An actual gas turbine RC engine. It produces 42hp with 28lbs of thrust at 125k rpms. Can push a 1/8th scale f-16 fighter to over 300mph! Uses an autostart mechinism and operates on only 1 servo!

Wonder if it would fit my NTC3? hehehe

WOW. That thing looks sweet. It sure does come with a lot of parts. If you was able to install that in your NTC3 the only place you would be able to run it is at the local drag strip. Or better yet, an airport runway. :) You might as well remove the steering servo and lock the front wheels in place becuase going left and right will not be an option. :)

Thing is cool as hell though, aint it? lol.

can u say overkill?

Yeah. I would love to see one in action in the 1/8th scale fighter. Does it run on glow fuel or something different?

I'm guessing gas because he mentioned gas in his first post but The only place you could ever put that thing is on your Bike...Scooter....Skateboard....MX...Imagine going 240mph on a Bike! Wow...Where is the link to this site I've heard so much about turbine engines I want to have a deeper look myself.

Take your buggy, rotate it 90 degrees so it is pointing
towards the sky, have Wiley Coyote light the fuze. Sit back and watch the fallout.

i like this one a little better .... 107 lbs of thrust ... i think I'm going to put one on the roof of my real car and see what happens

i just saw the price for some of thost "model" engines ... for a mere 2700 bucks. your jet can go about 300 mph too ... but for 2700 bucks you can get a lot ... like a really expensive hooker

we should do that that would be cool.

Man can you imagine (iam stealing you idea hunter) on a skate board damn at the local skate park. "hey ill play you skate" "hold on I have to start me jet" that would be wiered.

At that point, just mount some EPP wings and elevons to your NTC3 and use a 9C Futaba radio. Once you get up to speed, just lift-off! lol

That is cool as hell though!

since we're on the subject , i was thinking of getting one of those styrofoam gliders and stuffing an esc and radio into it somewhere , and then putting a model rocket engine on each wing and seeing what happens ... what do you think ?

oh yeha , i forgot that foam burns pretty well ... hmmmmm ... maybe ill strap them to a pan car or something

Now you're talkin!

Make sure you shield it some way, some how. Just so you dont ignite the fuel tank. Someone had a vid posted somewhere of a TMaxx with rocket engines. First attempt was a burned up failure. However, the second one went VERY well with no problems.

Just remember the shielding.

oh there wont be a gas tank , I'm going to put them in a little 1/12 electric pan car. then somehow light them off.. ill have a good steering servo or something to make sure i can steer. but other then that ... just a frame
