Does anyone make foam inserts for 40 series rims/tires?I looked on tower and only found standard maxx size foam inserts. Thanks

the trinity 3 stages (if that's what your referring to) DO NOT fit 40 series.....I'd Love to get those in 40 series....they rock for stock rims and it's all I use in MT tires.....

Thanks MyJeep. Now i am thinking the tires are not worht reusing.I can get everything brand new for only 25 dollars more.

Hey Plaid,

What exactly do you mean by Triple stage foams? Do they have three different levels of firmness? I am looking to pick up a set for my TMaxx. Thanks man.

Tom

yep....they have a firm outer&inner ring and a softer center ring....you glue those together and trim th ecorners at a 45* angle and put em in....they rock w/ stock size Bowties....I never smash Rims on my MT cause I don't use those offset barrels (40s) everyone likes so much.....IMO they catch more stuff and just don't have all that much of an advantage on an MT.......I like my MT to drive like a truck...I have a buggy for real racing...:D

Thanks for the info man... I must admit though, I am one of those 40 series bow tie lovers... I have the Proline hub adapters though.... I have to do something to compete with the class at the LHS races. I don't race much, but the MT class is nothing but a bunch of truggys so I have to do what I can to be competitive... but I agree with you.. half the fun is the fact that it handles like a dump truck....

Those trinity foams are awsome! I will never go back to a proline or other foam in my standard maxx tires.
