Hey guys iv been debating this for quite a while now and decided to ask yall. What should i get a Savage SS 4.6 kit or a 350cc Honda rancher. I couldnt find anything on the search so what do yall think. I mean i want a savage right now but everytime i see a 4 wheeler i think man F**k a savage I'm getting a 4 wheeler. Truthfuly i really only want the savage so i can build it cuz its a kit, Thats not saying i wouldnt drive the hell out of it but i just can't choose I'm really leaning towards a 4Wheeler right now and all but waht do yall think?

1. Do you have other trucks? If so, then the Savage would just be gravy.
2. Do you have a convenient place to ride the quad? Noting more discouraging than thinking about trailering it and driving an hour to get some seat time.
3. Do you have friends to bash a Savage with or ride a quad with? Doing either alone loses it's flavor over time.

of you get the rancher get the 400. it is better all around and it is sweet. my dad just got one and he would only let me try it once, (was a little hard on his last machine) but it is super fun for a 4x4. i am used to driving spor quads but this thing was simular. you could make it 2 wheel drive and mess around, but put it in 4 and make it through big mud holes. but to make your decision listen to candyman. he made some really good points.

Well that 4 wheeler is like $5,500 out the door and the Savage is like $430..... hmm.....lol... Wheres the choice here? Depend on if you want to do the bashing, or do ya want to watch it...
We have a 350 Rancher and its awesome!! The 2005 400s have already had 3 recalls. There still nice though. But I've noticed the 350 will go threw more and actually goes faster, but the 400 has more tourqe and power at the wheels..

the 2005's have 3 recalls? damn that sucks. do you know what it was on?

Man if I was you I would get a used older 4 wheeler thats in good shape and the money you save buying a cheaper one use that and get a Savage then you will have both.

Lol ok akmadmaxx and drive them at the same time lol just watch out for them poles lmao

Nothing to major.. One was a Coil Cover, the other was a Hub boot bracket and the other I'm not sure of.. They were all pretty micor though.. Id still like to have one..

Thats a hard decision. I want to get a raptor as soon as i get some money, but i also want to build a bunch of other RCs. The choice is tough, but if you pick one, you will always think that you should of done the other. Its weird how that works.

1)i have a buggy that screams and i love it
2)were building a house and the parentals said i can only start lookin once the house id built and we havnt eve cleared the lot so i have a while, but I'm goiung to be buying either one with the money saved in the bank. Also i have no source of income to make the money back, until I'm 16
3)i only have 2 friends that i bash with and all but i love wrenching more than bashing

Thats the only kind i would consider i would be throwing money down the drain if i bought a new one IMO. I have been scanning auto trader for a while adn have found some great buys where i would only have to save up like 500$ more and i could get it.

I'm not going lower than 350cc so Oh and i dont care if its 2wd bbut would love some 4wd but yeah well i know I'm gonna get both by the end of this year at the latest but i was just askin to see what yall thought. It might be better for me to just keep savin the money then ill have all i need and when the house is built ill be set to buy one then. And then my birthday and christmass will come and ill ge tlots of money and then i can get a job and later get a savage thats if i even want to spend the money on one i might just like th 4-wheeler to much

if you don't care about it being 2 wheel drive then get a 450R is you want a honda. i love mine, super light, and a lot of power. it is awesome on the track and the trails. and if your not a honda guy then the yamaha yfz 450 is just as good of choice, (a lot of people say it is better, but i like honda for the reliability factor) but get one of these two 4-wheelers and i promise you wont be dissapointed.

If you have balls, get a 89 suzuki LT-500 Quadracer, There fast and will always have power, but it's a 2 stroke so you have 2 stroke issue's,Or get a 450r there nice.

no i dont tink i have enough balls, lol haha ok well i think its 350cc-450cc for me i have a friend that has a really old kawasaki 250cc buyou and i had lots of fun on it so i thin kany of those are fine for me. lol Thanks
