Man that looks sweet as hell! I wonder how well that does in high speed turns though...........but none the less it looks sweet!!

Yeah it seems pretty easy to setup actually. I have been contemplating doing this on my own. Had no idea there were kits available. OH well what someone won't think if next ya know.

I saw that on ebay and was reading down the page. I think he is just selling you templates and directions to make the 4 wheel steering. Not sure, but I think that's what I read.

Yup you are right on that Mugen-Racer..........this is what you get and what you will additionally need for the 4 wheel steering system...........To complete this kit/conversion you will need a piece of material to make the plate and 2 special brackets. Carbon fiber is the strongest (no flex) lightest material to use. You will be able to retain your factory rear bumper. The complete assembly is protected from rollovers and totally hidden when the body is on. You will need a servo splitting harness, a servo and factory bell cranks from another truck that can be upgraded to bearings0.

What you will get is a template for all of the pieces you must cut and drill (printed on sticky paper) and complete detailed instructions for the whole conversion, including bumper modification, steering linkage adjustment ect. These instructions are very detailed and well thought out (not fly by night). Once your plates are cut assembly should take less than an half an hour, and can be put back to stock in 5 minutes or less.. A dremmel tool is handy for this job,I take no responsibility for personal injury incurred durring assembly of this kit (you cut off a finger thats on you.

I apologize for the long post guys, but this clears up any question of just what you are getting.

here's a link to one of the auctions:

I didn't read it close, but you'd obviously need a 3ch radio and one that can mix the steering channel with the aux channel (to move the back wheels when you turn the front ones).

It's a pretty cool idea.

It kind of sucks that he's being a total wanker and trying to trap people into paying $20 for instructions instead of just selling a legit kit.

My thoughts exactly, why not buy the fiber carbon in bulk and the other hardware he mentioned that would be needed, make the kit and sell it for a decent price to the public and still make a reasonable profit..........

Anyone here read Model Airplane News? They sell plans, bought some myself a couple of times. Sure you don't get any hardware or wood or other stuff to build the plane, but you do get the plans.

As for the issue of the third channel for the rear steering, IT'S CALLED A Y HARNESS. It allows you to drive 2 servos off of one channel on the reciever.

I put the 4 wheel steering on my TXT 1. very hard to control.
I soon took it out. It was cool for about five minutes but was a pain in the ass after i actually tryed to drive it with control.
