I'm trying to figure out how to make my Mad force 4 wheel steer. Any sugestions?

i thnk that there is a kit for it somewhere , ill look around and talk to my guy at the hobby shop . ... how do you like your mad ? I'm thiking of getting back into the MF but I'm looking at a buggy too. i can't decide

Actually, I've already succeed. My Mab Force now has a better turning radius than my touring car. But its very touchy and will roll if you try to turn when going to fast. It also adds a whole new challenge when you try to turn while doing a wheelie. Thank god its a tough truck. I love it. wheelies on command, awsome top speed, the only problem i have right now is not enough room to drive.

I'm getting the Kyosho inferno in a couple of months. When I do I'm going to put the landmax 2 speed transmission on it.

there is a 4 wheel steer kit for the t-maxx found here at Rad RC maby u can modify it to work.good luck.

I simply bought a nother steering rod and crank set. i set it up opposite to the front. it runs off of one servo (which i now need to upgrade.)

what is a good steering servo for a MF. (aironotics/futuba)

big mistake dude. i had 4 wheel steering on my mf for about 4 runs, i destroyed the head on my engine from flipping over. it turns way to fast. the only time it wouldnt roll is when i was going about 5mph, not good for a truck that is capable of supersonic speeds. take it off the truck soon and enjoy your stable, simple mad force!

just my :2cents:

you would almost need another servo and channel on your radio to make that thing work right

As long as I turn down the duel rate, turning at high speeds is possible. But I did notice the truck flips on a dime now.

The current single servo system works, its just that its not strong enough to turn all 4 tires.

Use a Airtronics 94359 with 200in/oz at .10sec or the hitec 5945 with 186in/oz at I think like 12sec the difference is like 25 to 30 bucks.

U Will Roll A Mad Force When Turning At High Speed Any Way, And U can't Tell Me Different I Own 2 Of Them. The Center Of Gravity Is Way To High On The Truck And Not Wide Enough. But The Cen Genesis 46 Has A Nice 4 Wheel Steering Kit

just a thought...

to get around the problem of rolling with 4 wheel steering, couldnt you use a servo saver on the rear steering linkage, set very light so that at speed the resistance from the tyres makes the servo saver slip, then u would only have 4 wheel steering at low speed. would probably be tricky to set tho, just an idea i had as i read the last few posts

cheers for now
