Has anyone done this on here? I've seen it a few different places online just looking for some feedback on it. Is it less of a pain than the tuning that goes along with the 2 stroke motors? I've never worked with a 4 stroke rc engine. was it a hard conversion to mount? If you have any feedback or pictures of you doing it it'd be much appreciated input!

Great for hill climbs and pulling gobs of torque sacrifice is top end speed unless you can come up with kick ass gearing set up.;)

The incredible amount of low end torque is going to allow you to push a high ratio of gearing. Should be able to run the highest you can mesh.

The engine block is the only thing on my Savage that's still stock, and I've been thinking about putting a 4 stroke on it since it weighs 18 lbs.

If you use a slayer tranny it should go like it has a 2 stroke on it. Don't ask me how you'll mount it (4 stroke) though.

I was just curious, maybe considering this or going electric. I'm so sick of tuning the 2 stroke engines. anyone wanna trade me an electric revo? :)

I've seen them on youtube a few times and ran accross people discussing it on forums. Very bad ass sounding, gobs of torque, but takes a bit of tinkering to get it to work right and be reliable.

but I'm sure once it is tuned once, it will be alot nicer than having to tune it every single ride like the 2 strokes, no? i mean I'm speaking out of assumption as i have no experience with the 4 stroke rc motors

iv been lookin into putting a gas two stroke motor such as the hpi baja uses. As they would be more happy after its been tuned once. But i love the ideal of 4 stoke. Were can i buy one i have a gst 7,7 lookin for more play time less tunin and workin on it.

From what I have heard the nitro 4 strokes are no less of a pain to tune than the 2 stroke. Once the engine has a bit of time on it there is more maintenance required. Cool factor? Oh heck yeah....but it take some work to get it all functioning properly.

You'll also have to adjust the lifters after the initial break in.
Note that the carb is mounted upside down next to the
exhaust manifold. It can be rotated to any direction, but
you'll need to do some tinkering to make it all work.

I'm thinking if you get a 4-stroker donk then you should be able to fit one of these somehow and it should actually work! There pointless on a 2-stroke but on a 4-stroke (if it does work like a true supercharger does) then the power would be insane!!!!!

Stay away from forced induction on rc engines or you will make the whole forum mad lol seriously they dont work

They are not efficient enough to actually do anything for you. A huge waste of money IMO. Yes even in a four stroke kinda pointless

Deffinetly wouldn't work on a 2-stroke but has anyone tried one on a 4?

Oh and while we're on the topic of convesion what about going diesel?

Where's my sledgehammer! Lol. Seriously superchargers are a major sore spot on here. Don't mention them or try to explain your rationality for trying them unless you are prepared to take some flak for it.

It's your money, spend like you want. I would advise against a supercharger unless you are running a gas engine, not a nitro.
