well was running my truck today and noticed i didnt have front drive, took the diff apart and the 4 little screws that hold the ring gear to the diff are broke off in the other side of diff,is there any upgrade i can get to eliminate those for little screws?or get a better diff setup because i don't think those little screws are very strong looking.this is a 2.5 tmaxx with a 3.3 on it black tranny and plastics

You can, but you ahve to get different ring gears too.

FastLaneMachine makes cups that are tapped larger and they also sell a modified ring gear combo:

Not sure what it would take to upgrade to revo style diffs or if it's even possible, but I've had very little issue with the diffs in a revo, even when running a big block.

I've never snapped them little screws , and i have the back diff locked and they still hold up good maybe the threads on the plastic case had rung off Idk .

Just ebay some new 3.3 maxx diffs, they are revo spec. and are drop in.
You may need to sand the ends of the diff yoke a little as mine were a little tight.

Same thing happened to me, I replaced the whole diff w an ebay one.... no problems since.
You CAN upgrade....... but no need IMHO
